Thermostat
Set to Cool, a few degrees below room temperature, with fresh batteries if it has them.

Breakers
Look for a tripped breaker for the air handler or the outdoor unit. Reset it once; if it trips again, leave it off.

Filter
A clogged filter can freeze the coil and stop airflow. Swap it if you can see dust packed on it.

Outdoor unit
Clear leaves and grass clippings from around it, and make sure the shut-off switch beside it is on.
Call right away if
