Boiler Installation

New Jersey has a lot of older homes on hot water and steam heat. We replace gas boilers with efficient, right-sized units, fitted to code and built to last.

Time for a new one?

Signs it is time to replace

  • Your boiler is old and needs frequent repairs
  • Rooms or radiators heat unevenly
  • You see leaks, rust, or hear knocking pipes
  • Your heating bills keep climbing

How we size it

For hot water systems we size the boiler from a heat-loss calculation of the house; for steam, from the radiators themselves. Either way you get the numbers with your written options.
You get the options in writing, with the price and financing on approved credit, before you decide. How financing works

Options

Your options for a new boiler

High-efficiency condensing boiler (hot water) Best for: Hot water baseboard and radiator systems Wall-hung or floor-standing, vents through PVC. Most efficient with lower water temperatures.
Combination boiler Best for: Smaller homes that also need hot water for taps Heats the house and your domestic hot water, so the separate water heater can go.
Steam boiler Best for: Homes with steam radiators (one-pipe or two-pipe) Steam systems need a steam boiler. Sizing follows the radiators, and the near-boiler piping matters as much as the boiler.
Boiler with an indirect water heater Best for: Large households that use a lot of hot water A storage tank heated by the boiler: plenty of hot water, one burner to maintain.

Questions

Boiler Installation: what people ask

Do you install both hot water and steam boilers?

Yes. We work on both gas hot water (hydronic) and gas steam systems, which are common in older New Jersey homes.

Will a new boiler work with my existing radiators?

In most cases, yes. We match the new boiler to your existing distribution and let you know if anything else needs attention.

How long does a boiler replacement take?

Most replacements take one to two days depending on the system. We confirm the timeline before we begin.
